Paul Pogba Hints At Returning To Former Club
All hope is not lost for Paul Pogba following his failed doping test leading to his ban from all football activities. The ban that was served him in February of last year will be due in March and the French midfielder is already anticipating a return to one of his former clubs.
Initially, Pogba was handed a four-year ban for the use of dehydroepiandrosterone substance. The tide turned for the player after appealing at the Court of Arbitration for Sport where his sentence was reduced. Ever since he has been optimistic of making a career return. However, that has not been without hassle as one of his favorite clubs declined rumors of resigning him.
However, the 2018 Fifa World Cup winner teased his dream return to Manchester United via his Instagram handle with a caricature of himself and Amad Diallo at Old Trafford. He captioned the update as: "Let's see what's coming..."
There has not been any indication of Manchester United linking to the midfielder to re-sign him to the club. Nevertheless, the club is not in good condition and has struggled through many of their Premier League encounters. Qualifying for any European competition is not in view for the Red Devils this season as they are in a distant 12th position.
As for Juventus, the club has already made clear its position on Pogba that they will not be re-signing him to the club. Though the player might be keen on his interest, they already have enough players to fill in the gaps.
