Chelsea Sack Manager, Liam Rosenoir
Liam Rosenoir has come to the end of his reign as Chelsea manager after the club relieved him from his role on Wednesday.
Chelsea have been winless for five consecutive Premier League games, sending the team out of the top six. The plummeting performance might culminate in losing out on qualification for a European competition next season.
The club confirmed the sacking in a statement, saying it has parted ways with the former head coach and that Calum McFarlane will take over temporarily as the Interim Head Coach until the end of the season.
"Chelsea Football Club has parted company with Head Coach Liam Rosenoir," the statement reads. "This has not been a decision the Club has taken lightly; however, recent results and performances have fallen below the necessary standards with still so much to play for the season."
Liam had only assumed duty less than six months ago. He was appointed to replace former head coach Enzo Maresca in January. Liam was sacked the day after Chelsea lost 3-0 to Brighton, completing their fifth consecutive winless run.
