Red Bull Gives Christian Horner Huge Pay-Out Following His Dismissal

Former Red Bull principal, Christian Horner, has received a whopping £80 million from the Racing Team after being relieved of his role this season.

Horner served the Milton Keynes-based team for 20 years. In his later years with the team, he won four consecutive F1 Constructors' Championship titles. He was relieved of the job despite his contract running until 2030, and no reason was given.

However, it was known that Horner was in the middle of an internal power struggle, and another speculation attributed his dismissal to rumors of inappropriate behavior towards a female member of staff.

Current;y. Horner is out of any F1 management role since then. Likewise, defending the F1 Championship titles appears to be a challenging task for the team, as Max Verstappen trails in third place behind the McLaren duo of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri

There are speculations that the English engineer might return to the grid next season. It is understood that he is considering a move to Alpine. There are also speculations that Ferrari might be his next move.

Horner was replaced by Laurent Merkie upon his dismissal in July. Last weekend, Max Verstappen won the Azerbaijan Grand Prix for his first back-to-back race victory of the season after winning the Italian Grand Prix. In the other hand, McLaren's leading driver, Oscar Piastri, retired from the race following his crash into the barrier on Lap 1.
