Eberechi Eze Is Set To Debut For Arsenal

Eberechi Eze has been in the headlines for some time now over his imminent transfer to Arsenal, which might have just been finalised on Friday.

Arsenal had agreed on verbal terms with the players, and all documents were understood to have been signed, securing his exit from Crystal Palace. As a consequence, the attacking midfielder might make his debut against Leeds United on Saturday.

"I don't know for how long Kai Havertz will be out," said Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta on Havertz's injury update. "We need more time and more tests."

Arsenal needed an attacking midfielder to fill the gap left off by Havertz, who is battling a knee injury. :ast weekend, he was unable to make a full-time appearance in their opening matchday game against Manchester United. The Gunners had a difficult day against United, even though they won by a lone goal.

By the way, Eze was earlier linked to Tottenham before Arsenal joined the race. The Spurs offered a lesser deal compared to Arsenal's, and to make it easier for their North London neighbours, the player preferred Arsenal to Spurs.

All things being equal, Eze is set to make the starting lineup this weekend, as he was expected to have undergone his medicals on Friday. The deal is set to be worth £60 million.
