Manchester United Reach Agreement With Brentford On Bryan Mbeumo

Manchester United are halfway through the deal for Bryan Mbeumo after an agreement was reached with Brentford, as a revised offer of £65 million plus add-ons of £5 million was presented.

Brentford's asking price was set at £70 million, and United's previous offer fell short of that. The Red Devils initially offered £55 million, plus £7.5 million in add-ons, which the London-based club rejected. In the bid to secure his transfer, the bid was reviewed despite the club owner, Sir Ratcliffe, expressing concern over the amount.

Manchester United Revise Initial Offer for Bryan Mbeumo As Brentford Demand More

United are understood to be monitoring the development between Liverpool and Eintracht Frankfurt over Hugo Ekitike, to join the race. However, Ekitike is understood to be keen on joining the Reds, and discussions on a deal between the clubs are at an advanced stage. To that effect, United are technically out of that race.

However, United have already completed two signings. Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon were signed to bolster the attacking forward and the left-back. The signing of Mbeumo is set to be the third, and as a right-winger, he will join Amad Diallo in the role as an attacking forward.
