Ademola Lookman Is Set To Leave Atalanta Amidst Links To Inter Milan, Others

Inter Milan are making a move for Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman, as the player's exit from the Italian club is imminent, with an asking price of £43 million at the centre of the discussion. 

Atalanta are ready to let go of the player, who helped the side win the UEFA Europa League trophy for the first time in the 2023/24 season, scoring a hat-trick that gave the side the victory in the final against Leverkusen. Lookman contributed 15 goals to the side last season, which they finished in third place behind Inter and Napoli, who won the Serie A.

It is understood that the winger is committed to leaving the club; however, Inter are not alone in the race to sign him, as Arsenal are also understood to be considering his transfer to the Emirates Stadium. Mikel Arteta is considering revamping the Gunners' frontline, and he is strongly linked to Swedish striker Viktor Gyokeres. Though the deal is yet to be completed, there are speculations that a suitable left-winger, such as Lookman, will compensate for Noni Madueke on the right. 

Inter are reportedly preparing to make an official offer for Lookman. Meanwhile, there are speculations that Atalanta might reduce the asking price to pave way for the Nigerian winger's exit this summer. On the other hand, Arsenal's interest for the Nigerian might face some setbacks as the Gunners are also link to Crystal Palace's Eberechi Eze.
