Chelsea Boss Leaves Club On Mutual Agreement
Chelsea have reached a mutual agreement with the club manager, Mauricio Pocchettino to allow him leave Stamford Bridge by the end of the season.
The Argentine coach joined the coach last summer and has had a challenging season at the club in terms of performance. However, things picked up for the side and they managed to return back to participating in a European competition - Chelsea finished the season in sixth to secure their place in the Europa League.
"Thank you to the Chelsea ownership group and Sporting directors," the existing coach expressed his gratitude. "The club is now well positioned to keep moving forward in the Premier League and Europe in the years to come."
As the club confirmed via its official website, Pocchettino will be leaving alongside his crew namely Miguel d'Ahostino, Toni Jimenez, Jesus Perez, and Sebastiana Pocchettino. Meanwhile, Pocchettino joined the club on two-year contract on the exist of Frank Lampard, who was replaced by Graham Potter as an interim.
