Robert Pattinson Officially Unvieled As New Batman

For nearly a year now, Robert Pattinson has been linked to taking up the Batman cap from Ben Affleck, finally, the role has officially been announced to be his from the next installment of the franchise.

Pattinson is known for his role in the British fantasy film 'Twilight' and came out of the favorite for the role after coming out atop of a rigorous test between him and another contender Nicolas Hoult in May, conducted by Warner Bros. before making a decision on who will succeed Affleck.

Announcing the development, Matt Reeves dropped a short teaser on his Twitter page on Wednesday, in which the 33-year-old was dressed in the Batman suit. At this point, it is convincing that Pattinson is the new Batman beyond any reasonable doubt.

The exited character, Ben Affleck, made his debut appearance in the franchise in 2016's Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, then did a cameo in Suicide Squad and wrap up his role in the comic film in Justice League.
