Warner Bros. To Cast Zoe Kravitz As Catwoman In Oncoming 'The Batman' Film

Zoe Kravitz will be taking up the cap for catwoman in oncoming 'The Batman' film which will be casting Robert Pattison in the lead role after Ben Affleck retired from the role.

Matt Reeves, who directs the film, broke the news on Monday in a Twitter update with a GIF of Kravtiz saying "Hello" to a phone she holds in her hands.

The 32-year-old is actually not new to the character as she had voiced as catwoman in The Lego Batman film with Will Arnett in the lead role as Batman back in 2017.

Affleck only lasted as the caped crusader in three films - Batman vs Superman, Justice League 2, and Suicide Squad - before announcing he has officially stepped down from the role in January.

Four months later, the studios chose Pattison as the preferred actor over Nicholas Hoults suitable to replace in the franchise after a rigorous process was conducted to access the two for the role.
