Kendrick Lamar is not having a lawsuit filed filed by an artist who claimed her portray inspired his sosoundtrack for "Black Panther" - either is SZA having the suit.
In February, Lina Iris Viktor filed a suit against Kendrick and SZA used her artwork to make the music video for their song "All the Stars" which was also used in Marvel's superhero film "Black Panther".

In objection to Iris Viktor suit, the singers have filed their suit against the plaintiff's stance, demanding that the judge dismissed his case on the ground that it "common sense and logic dictate that an alleged 19 second use of an artwork in a video" is not enough to make a song successful.

The Ryan Cooglar directed film is one of the all-time biggest debut at the box office and Marvel Studios fourth all-time biggest gross.
Such a huge success, the singers believed can not be ascribed to a 19 second clip but as a result of "worldwide popularity" including their accomplishments in the music industry.
