David Alaba Agrees Terms With Udinese

 

David Alaba has reached a verbal agreement with Udinese, months after a breakdown of talks between him and his former Club, Real Madrid over contract extension. 

The Austrain has been out of contract for some time after Real Madrid declined extending his contract. The situation left the defender in limbo this summer. Nonetheless, clubs such as Inter Miami and AC Milan were linked to the player at the same time. 

Though the summer transfer window has long been closed, Alaba's move to the Italian club is reportedly expected to be finalised. Afterwards, he is expected to return to action, according to Fabrizio Romano.

He joined Real Madrid in 2021 from Bayern Munich after a loan spell at Hoffenheim. He has an incredible stint at Bernabeu where he won four UEFA Champions League title, two Spaniard La Liga titles and other domestic trophies.
