Ferran Torres Nears Sealing Transfer To Paris Saint-Germain

Ferran Torres moves closer to finalising his transfer to Paris Saint-Germain with a verbal agreement reached between the club and the player regarding his exit from Barcelona.

The striker has been making the rounds with his imminent departure from Barcelona after his successful outing at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in America. He scored the goal that sealed Spain's victory against Argentina in the final.

As PSG is set to lose Bradley Barcola, who has been linked to Liverpool, and Ibrahim Mbaye is also seeking to leave, the need to revamp is paramount for the club. Hence, Ferran is deemed a suitable replacement.

PSG are understood to have presented an initial offer of €50 million, according to Fabrizio Romano. Apparently, the bid fell short of Barcelona's demand. The La Liga club is reportedly demanding €65 million to kick-start negotiations for Ferran's move.

The increase in the player's asking price is reportedly associated with his performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Meanwhile, Ferran is in the final year of his contract, which expires in the summer of 2027.
