Kimi Antonelli Regains Podium, Wins Miami Grand Prix

Kimi Antonelli regained the podium pole, winning the Miami Grand Prix for his third race victory of the season as Lando Norris finished third.

The Mercedes duo had a disappointing race at the Sprint, where he was given a five-second penalty for track-limit infringement, dropping him from P4 to P6. He stormed the qualifying session, finishing quickest in Q3 to pole for the final. He won the Miami GP in 1:33:19.273 seconds.

Though the final was chaotic and challenging as Charles Leclerc sped by to take the lead, Antonelli recovered position after going wide off track, trailing the Ferrari. Over the laps, he faced Norris in supremacy for the front row and established himself in the position on Lap 29 as positions switched between Norris and Max Verstappen.

Verstappen had an eventful race. From the starting grid, he spun but avoided a collision or crashing into the wall. Again on Lap 57, he spun, avoiding a collision with the wall. The Red Bull driver later finished the race in P5.

Oscar Piastri finished in third. He was trailed by Leclerc until the last lap when the Ferrari driver was edged by George Russell in the final corner to take the fourth position. Verstappen was also involved in the chase in the last corner, negotiating for position, and sped by Leclerc before crossing the finish line.

Antonelli maintains his leadership position in the F1 Championship race with 100 points, and George Russell in second with 80 points. The defending champion, Norris, trails in fourth with 51 points.
