Ousmane Demebele Strikes As PSG Eliminate Liverpool From UEFA CHampions League

Paris Saint-Germain have secured their place in the UEFA Champions League Last Four after eliminating Liverpool with a 2-0 victory, having an aggregate score of 4-0 from both legs of the tie.

Liverpool's trip to Paris was unyielding in the first leg of the quarter-final, where they lost 3-0 to their counterparts. Hosting the Ligue 1 side was not better off either as Ousmane Dembele thrashed the side with a brace, sending them out of the competition.

Though the French striker scored the first goal in the second half with an individual effort, curling a left-footed shot into the bottom right, the second goal came in injury time. The Reds had committed more players to the attack when PSG seized a fastbreak for a counter, side-footing Barcola's cross into the net.

Liverpool, however, had a handful of chances. Matcei Safonov firmly protected the box, making incredible saves. The loss sealed Liverpool's title fate this season after their elimination from the FA Cup by Manchester City.
