Joao Pedro Nets Hat-trick As Chelsea Theash Aston Villa
Chelsea asserted their dominance over Aston Villa, cruising to a 4-1 victory at Villa Park, as Joao Pedro scored a hat-trick to lead the Blues through.
The game got off to a brilliant start for Aston Villa, with Douglas Luiz striking early to give the home side the lead. However, Chelsea's resilience and firepower soon turned the tide. João Pedro's equalizer, sliding to tap in Malo Gusto's cross.
In the closing minutes of the first half, Ollie Watkins missed a chance to put Villa ahead, and his goal was canceled for offside position. Fortunately for Chelsea, Pedro's goal from Enzo Fernández's through ball was ruled onside, and the Blues took the lead by 2-0.
