Getafe Dealt Shocking Blow To Real Madrid

 

Real Madrid suffered a shocking defeat at Bernabeu to an unsuspecting team, Getafe, setting them back in the La Liga title race against Barcelona. 

The hosts had just lost their previous La Liga clash with Osasuna. They had just managed to edge Benfica in the UEFA Champions League playoff to secure their place in the Round of 16. However, things are not looking good for the Spanish team. 

Martin Satriano struck a brilliant 20-yard volley into the top left corner from a ball headed loose by Rudiger and Aurelien Tchouameni following a cross from Luis Milla. 

Satriano made his debut at the Bernabéu and helped secure the maximum points, restoring the side to winning form after losing their previous game to Sevilla. Real Madrid had never lost to Getafe in their previous six consecutive games.
