Grammys 2026: Kendrick Lamar Tops Winners, Nigerian Artists Miss Out


Kendrick Lamar, Bad Bunny, and Lady Gaga topped the winners' list of the 68th Grammy Awards ceremony held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday. 

Kendrick won the most awards for his song Luther with SZA from his latest album, GNX. He led the list with five awards, including the best record of the year. The rapper has now led the ceremony as the top winner for two consecutive years. 

Also among the top winners at the event was Billie Eilish, who received four awards. Bad Bunny won the global music performance award for his hit song, EoO

In African music categories, South African artist Tyla beat her Nigerian counterparts to win a Grammy for her song, Push 2 Start. Davido and Burna Boy missed out as Bad Bunny won the Global Performance award.
