Niccolo Pisilli's Brace Leads AS Roma To Bear Stuttgart In UEL Clash

AS Roma held off Stuttgart's strong resilience and claimed a 2-0 victory in their UEFA Europa League clash at Stadio Olimpico.

Niccolo Pisilli scored both goals for Roma in the closing minutes of both halves. Stuttgart had its chances, but the Italians' defense was resolute, keeping their box safe. Mile Svilar also played a vital role in stopping attempts from the Germans.

Pisilli opened the scoring in the 40th minute when Matias Soules played him in on the right and darted into shooting range before steering the ball into the net. The second goal followed in injury time when Roma exchanged passes inside Stuttgart's box, Paulo Dybala playing in Pisilli, who struck the ball into the left post.

Before Roma sealed the victory, Stuttgart had two glaring chances inside their opponents' box, but Evan Ndicka and Gianluca Mancini stopped the efforts.
