Enzo fernandez Leads Chelsea To Incredible Victory Against West Ham

Chelsea staged an incredible performance to defeat West Ham United by 3-2 at Stamford Bridge, canceling out the opponents' lead with a stunning injury-time goal from Enzo Fernández

After an impressive European win in midweek, Chelsea look out Victorious with momentum in the Premier League top-four race against an improving West Ham side battling relegation.

West Ham moved up in the lead from an early goal from Jarrod Bowen. The attacker lifted to get a touch on  Aaron Wan-Bissaka's cross and deflected the ball into the net in the 7th minute.  The lead doubled when Crysencio Summerville curled home the second goal from inside the box.

Joao Pedro pulled one goal back for Chelsea shortly after he replaced Alejandro Garnacho. He headed home Fofana's cross from close range to score Chelsea's first goal. Marc Cucurella equalised for Chelsea with a header, reacting swiftly to a loose ball inside the six-yard box.

With the running into injury time, Chelsea sustained the pressure in West Ham's half. Cole Palmer played in Moises Caicedo, whose pass set off Pedro to dart into space and cut back a pass to Fernandez. The striker wasted no time; on one touch,  he curled the ball into the bottom left corner, and Chelsea took the lead.

Chelsea are enjoying a fruitful start to life under Liam Rosenior. They have won five out of six previous games, following their 3-2 victory against Napoli in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, securing their place in the last 16.

Overview

It took Chelsea considerable effort to undo the deficit from the first half. West Ham held their ground until they began to open up slightly as the Blues exploited the right wings. Pedro did a great job of firing up the side until he found the net. His goal restored confidence in the team.

Marc Cucurella was another interesting figure in the game. Overlapping to assist in the attack paid off for the Blues. Shortly after he came as a substitute alongside Pedro, the load of work was lifted off Cole Palmer. However, Wan-Bissaka was sensational. He was involved in the two goals that wrenched Xhelsea in the first half. They neatly overran the Blues until the halftime break.
