Arsenal outshine Inter Milan, Maintaining Unbeaten Run In UCL

Arsenal claimed a 3-1 victory in the clash against Inter Milan for a second consecutive season in the UEFA Champions League.

Both Arsenal and Inter are at the top of their domestic leagues, and the Italians remained unbeaten in six matches after a 1-0 victory over Udinese on Saturday. Meanwhile, the Gunners were held to a goalless draw by Nottingham Forest.

Unlike their previous game, Arsenal were in superlative form, taking a two-goal lead in the first half. Gabriel Jesus scored the opening goal in the 10th minute before the Italian leveled from Sucic's 18-yard shot into the top left corner.

The Brazilian striker, Gabriel Jesus, regained the lead for Arsenal in the 31st minute, heading home Gabriel Martinelli's flicker, following a corner by Bukayo Saka. In the closing stages, Arsenal seized a fast break to seal the game.

Viktor Gyokere received a through pass from the centre field. He darted down the centre and played in Saka, who returned a back-heel pass to him. Gyokere curled the ball from inside the 18-yard box into the top left corner.

The Gunners arrive at the San Siro with a 100% record in this season’s competition. They are the only unbeaten side left standing, putting them already in a position to seal a top-eight finish.

A seventh successive UCL victory marks a new club record, and as all three of the away wins they’ve managed in that sequence came without reply, back against them rewriting history here.

Overview

Arsenal were in incredible form today. They matched the aggression and pace of Inter, who tried to exploit the wings. Gyokeres was in good form, and his effort that sealed the victory was a masterclass.
