Antoine Semenyo Completes Transfer To Manchester City

Bournemouth forward, Antoine Semenyo, has promised his new team that his "best football is yet to come" after completing his January window transfer to Manchester City.

City completed a long-term contract worth £64 million with the winger, who completed his medical midweek. He is expected to make the starting lineup of the club in their match against Manchester United this weekend.

Pep Guardiola struggled in his previous three consecutive Premier League games, drawing against Sunderland, Chelsea, and Brighton. The deal for the Ghanaian forward was completed after the Citizens triggered his release clause with an offer that surpassed what other contenders, such as Manchester United and Liverpool, offered. The contract is expected to last for five-and-a-half-year.

Semenyo scored the stoppage-time goal that snatched the victory for Bournemouth in a 3-2 win against Tottenham. He played a significant role in the Cherries' 2-2 draw against Chelsea and scored the team's only goal in a 4-1 loss to Brentford.
