Mason Mount, Zirkzee's Goals Lead Manchester United To Beat Crystal Palace

 

Manchester United came from behind to seize an important victory against Crystal Palace by 2-1 at Selhurst Park, lifting the visitors one place past their hosts in the Premier League table. 

During the week, Palace, in a comeback, lost their previous game against Strasbourg by 2-1. Having to lose to United set them back in the domestic league and in the UEFA Europa. However, they are in safe positions in both competitions. 

Palace took the lead from a penalty by Jean-Philippe Mateta, moments after VAR ruled out United's goal for offside. With an assist from Bruno Fernandez, Joshua Zirkzee leveled the terms for United. minutes into the second half. The Portuguese midfielder again played in Mason, who struck a shot from outside the box to beat Henderson to the goal in the 63rd minute.
