Team Brazil Wins Lagos Grand Prix In E1 Inaugural Series in Africa
Team Brazil lived up to its performance from the qualifying trials, winning the Lagos Grand Prix as the E1 Series held its inaugural race in Nigeria.
It was a sensational final for Team Brazil, which had never won an E1 Grand Prix until they clinched their first in an inaugural event in Lagos, Nigeria. On the other hand, Team Drogba, which had never won a Grand Prix, was trailing while charting the longer lap on the final lap and lost the second place by Team Blue Rising.
"This is so special," said Timmy Hansen. "We had to come a long way for this win. We had to fight super hard. I can't believe we are on the top of the podium."
In the previous Grand Prix in Monaco, Team Brazil finished behind Blue Rising, which won the race. It was the team's first Grand Prix victory, achieved by pilots John Peeter and Sara Misir.
