Juventus To Replace Igor Tudor With Luciano Spalletti

Juventus are close to hiring Luciano Spalletti to replace former manager Igor Tudor, who was sacked on Monday, following the side's defeat to Lazio

After the sacking of Tudor, Juventus had been in talks with Luciano while they replaced the former manager with Massimo Brambilla on an interim basis. Brambilla led the team to their game against Udinese on Wednesday, which they won by 3-1.

However, that victory did not change Juventus' commitment to sign Luciano. A deal was finalized between the two parties on Thursday, and he is set to be unveiled as the club's new manager.

Speaking of the prospect of becoming Juve's manager, Luciano confessed he "will be lucky" to be appointed. The former Napoli manager has been out of a job since June.

"I feel good, I wait with serenity. I have the ambition to set things right," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport." Whoever replaces him (Igor Tudor) will be lucky because he'll find a well-trained team."

Luciano's last job was as the head coach of the Italy national team. Meanwhile, he joined the national team, having led Napoli to win the Italian Serie A in the 2022-23 season. However, the Italian Federation sacked him in June after spending two years as the national team coach.
