Everton ended Crystal Palace's 19-game unbeaten run in all competitions with a 2-1 victory before the international break. The Blues have lost more games than it has won in 31 home games, and the club remains committed to keeping Pickford.
The new long-term contract is set to kick in after his current contract expires in 2027. Already, the goalkeeper has one year left in the contract he signed in 2023.
Following his performance, it was clear that Pickford would remain with the club, having achieved a record feat of making his 300th appearance for Merseyside against Crystal Palace. He became the goalkeeper with he most appearances for Everton after that game. Furthermore, he is the number one show-stopper of England's Three Lions.
