Victor Boniface Claps Back At Critics Over Failed AC Milan Move

Victor Boniface is not having it from critics and is clapping back after the breakdown of talks on his impending transfer between Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan.

Milan had reached an advanced stage in the player's loan transfer deal. which is set at 5 million euros in fee, with an option to buy out permanently. The overall cost of the permanent contract was set at €24 million. Unfortunately, the Italian club made a U-turn in the last minutes after the player underwent his medicals.

The Nigerian forward had something to say to his critics, releasing a statement via his social media handle shortly after the deal was terminated.

"Boniface, no serious, he dey everywhere. I dey club like Leverkusen and club like Milan want me and I no serious," he wrote on X in broken English. "So if I serious na club for Jupiter I go de play."

Boniface, who had a past history of anterior cruciate ligament injuries, failed Milan's fitness test, and the deal was called off. He had since flown back to his Bayer to continue his spell.
