Manchester United Agree Deal With RB Leipzig for Benjamin Sesko
Manchester United have agreed deal with RB Leipzig for Benjamin Sesko, whose transfer to old Trafford this summer is imminent.
The deal between the clubs is understood to worth £66 million plus add-ons of over €8 million. Apparently, the player is keen on the transfer as he had earlier agreed with United on personal terms, favoring the club over Newcastle. Meanwhile, the Magpies had earlier presented an offer to Leipzig ahead of United.
On Thursday, he was spotted in a private jet, heading to Manchester following a photo of him and his agent that surfaced online. It is believed that negotiations have reached advanced stages and a deal might be signed in days. However, the player snubbed the offer from Newcastle, indicating his preference for United.
Sesko is set to be the fourth signing completed under Ruben Amorim. Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo had earlier been signed amidst Alejandro Garnacho's readiness to leave the club to join Chelsea. The Blues are still in talking stages as United are reprotedly demanding £50 million for the player.
