Luis Diaz Reaches Final Stages Of Transfer To Bayern Munich

Luis Diaz is on the verge of completing his transfer to Bayern Munich as the Germans have finalized their agreement with Liverpool, and the player has already undergone his medical examination.

Liverpool agreed to a deal with the Germans after they offered a revised deal of £65.5 million following a failed initial offer of £53 million. Meanwhile, Diaz had requested to leave in this window transfer as the Reds are linked to Real Madrid winger, Rodrygo, to replace him. Securing a deal for the Brazilian might face some uphill tasks; Tottenham and Arsenal are also considering a move for the player.

The player has been spotted at the club premises, and it is understood that the Reds are linked to Real Madrid winger Rodrygo as a replacement. The transfer will end the Colombian's three-and-a-half-year spell at Anfield, during which they won the Premier League title with the club.

Even as Diaz's exit might mean a lot to the Reds' attacking forward, Liverpool are near completing the signing of Eintracht Frankfurt's Hugo Ekitike. The need to sign the striker became paramount as Darwin Nunez wants out, and their attempts to land a deal with Newcastle United for Alexander Isak.

There are speculations that Liverpool have not really given up on Isak, an interest which could be reignited on the exit of Diaz. However, making an attempt will come at a costly fee of £120 million. The need for the Swede might have also stemmed from the death of Diogo Jota, which loosened the attacking forward, and the impending exit of players like Nunez and Federico Chiesa.
