Chris Brown Pleads "Not Guilty" of Inflicting Music Producer With Bodily Harm

Chris Brown is back in court for a physical assault case involving him against a UK-based music producer, and he has pleaded "not guilty" to the charges against him.

Brown was seen entering a Crown Court in London on Friday. The Deuces singer was arrested by the Metropolitan Police upon his arrival in Manchester, when a whistleblower tipped off the authorities.

The charges stemmed from an altercation between the singer and Abraham Diaw. However, Diaw was attacked by the R&B singer while at a bar in a London nightclub. The attack was unprovoked, and he was left with bodily harm as the singer smashed a bottle on him and hit him repeatedly alongside his entourage.

One Omololu Akinlolu was also charged with Brown in the assault case. Meanwhile, the American artist regained his freedom from prison after his second bail application. He was accused of carrying an offensive weapon (in terms of a bottle) in a public space, which he eventually used to inflict bodily harm on Diaw.

Meanwhile, the singer flew into the country for his UK tour and performed last weekend in Manchester amidst his court case. Following the court hearing, it was understood that the case was adjourned to July 11. Within the period, Brown has a lot on his hands; shuttling between the case with his lawyer and hosting concerts across the United Kingdom.
