Oscars: Top Winner, Anora Leads List of Winners

 

The 97th annual ceremony of the Academy Awards was a haul for Sean Baker and his film, Anora topping the night with five awards amongst which were highly coveted awards in the Major categories. 

Emilia Perez, a film by Jacques Audiard was the most nominated film with 13 nods but managed to win two awards amongst which was in the supporting role. Conclave missed out on most categories and took home one award. 

A Real Pain actress, Kieran Culkin won the Best Supporting Role for her role in the film, her fourth consecutive Academy Award in the same category. The Brutalist followed as a top winner and runner-up, with three awards in total.
