Barcelona Top La Liga After Thrashing Osasuna
Holding La Liga leader, Barcelona, made an impressive return from the international break to take on Osasuna. The fixture was rescheduled after the sudden passing of Barcelona doctor Carles Miñarro Garcia. However, they thrashed their opponents, Osasuna 3-0 at home to extend their table lead.
Though the Blaugrana played aggressively has the fixture was scheduled so early after the break, and they also played to honour Garcia by extending an imperious game unbeaten streak in the league, still handing them the advantage in the title race, as victory here sent them three points clear of defending champions Real Madrid.
