Antonio Rudiger Opens Up On Commitment To Real Madrid
As the season gradually approaches its closing stages, Antonio Rudiger has assured Real Madrid and his fans of his commitment to the club and that he has no interest in leaving "any time soon"
Rudiger is a prominent figure in Real Madrid, particularly as a defender. His service is dearly needed now that the club is riddled with injuries. There is no rumor of any transfer offer for the German player, yet. However, as there are speculations that Madrid are looking for a center-back, there are fears that might impact his position in the team.
At the press conference ahead of Germany's game against Italy in the UEFA Nations League quarterfinal, Rudiger opened up on his future at the Bernabeu stadium.
"In football, you never know," said Rudiger. "But at Real Madrid, I'm really really happy. I'm not looking forward to leave any time soon."
A few days ago, reports of Real Madrid linking up with William Saliba made rounds on the internet. The Arsenal player was not alone, alongside him was Bournemouth defender, Dean Huijsen who was also believed to be linked to the club.
Saliba's contract has three years left to run and he is still an important player in the club's starting lineup but he somewhat fancies Spaniards. Recently, he described Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos as the best defender of all time.
