Vinicius Jr. Talks About Incredible Career Target Amidst PSG, Saudi Arabia Rumoured Links
As Real Madrid hope to reach an acceptable new deal with Vinicius Jr. to keep him for more years at the club, there are speculations that Paris Saint-Germain and Saudi Arabia Pro League are showing interest in the striker.
Talks are still ongoing between the player and the club about a contract extension which Real reportedly have not met the player's demands. As a consequence, the negotiations could not yield as it is understood that the player's representative turned down Real's first offer. The deal has been on the table since January without both parties having a headway.
The situation is beginning to take new turns with rumors linking the player to Paris Saint-Germain and Saudi Arabia. There has not been any concrete evidence of that, however, Vinicius has reacted to the rumors to settle the dust.
“I want to make history at Real Madrid, reaching 500 games at the club," said Vinicius as quoted by an Italian Journalist, Fabrizio Romano. "It is an unexplainable feeling to be captain of the best club in the world for the first time at 24 years old.”
Since Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Saudi Arabia, the country's Pro League has experienced a boom and influx of top players from their European counterparts. The Saudis are top spenders and have signed players with fees in the region of tens of millions of pounds. Having a link like that could be tempting and Vinicius deemed it right to clarify that.
In a separate development, it is understood that the PSG are closely monitoring the situation should there be a need to wade in. Though they do not need a star player, as for Vinicius, it is a different situation and they might be tempted to go for the player.
