Manchester City To Face Resilient Championship Side As FA Cup Fifth Round Draw Is Released

Premier League frontrunners Liverpool had a shocker of the season following a loss to Plymouth Argyle that got them eliminated from the FA Cup on Sunday. As the draw for the fifth round was released on Monday, the Championship side is drawn against another top-flight team. Are they set to stop a side like Manchester City? Until then everyone will find out.  

Top Premier League teams are still well represented at this stage of the competition, with the presence of Manchester United, Aston Villa, Newcastle, Brighton, and others. Manchester United is the defending champions of the trophy. Over the weekend, they narrowly escaped elimination from Leicester with Harry Maguire's injury-time goal. In the fifth round, they have another Premier League rival to battle with.
