Chelsea Stunning Comeback Snatches Victory From West Ham United

Chelsea came from behind to claim a crucial 2-1 victory against West Ham United, consolidating its position in the EPL top four standings.

The first half was West Ham's and a consequence of a floppy defensive back pass which opened the defense line for Jarrod Bowen to strike. Despite that moment, Chelsea had the upper hand and a handful of opportunities to lead the half.

Colwill intended to send a back pass to his team-mate while Bowen read the situation carefully and latched onto the loose ball, darting into the box and striking home the opening goal. Chelsea brought the game back to level terms after halftime following a rowdy moment from Fernandez's effort and Pedro Neto struck the loose ball into the net.

Cole Palmer later seized an individual effort to work out the winning goal. Though the ball was deflected into the net by Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Plamer brilliantly darted through the opposition and smashed a goal-bound shot that deflected off Wan-Bissaka into the goal.

As West Ham's losing streak continues through four Premier League games, the Blues regained winning form after losing massively to Manchester City in their previous game. They remain in a good position to contend for the top four positions to make a slot for the Champions League.

Overview

Chelsea had a little slacking moment but they were on course to come out fine as they repeatedly troubled the visitors and got the needed goals to win. Nevertheless, Bowen was dazzling and could have made the day for Hammers. He carefully read the situation and he was just right. Colwill was a little careless with the ball. He could have avoided that error. Palmer deserved applause for winning even though it was Wan-Bissaka's own goal, he well crafted the moment that culminated in the victory.
