Darwin Nunez's Injury Time Goals Lead Liverpool Through Against Brentford

 

Arsenal left it late to injury time before striking twice to complete a 2-0 rout of Brentford and consolidated their position as the premier League front-runners. Darwin Nunez provided the goals after a long search by the Reds. 

Alexander-Arnold picked out Nunez inside the crowded box and he tapped the ball into the net on the first touch. Nunez completed the brace as Harvey Elliot burrowed through the defense and poked the ball over to him in front of the goal. He wasted no time slamming the ball past Flekken into the net 

Meanwhile, the game was filled with loads of scoring chances, and among those was Mohamed Salah's attempt which narrowly missed the bottom left of the goal. Another near miss was Szoboszlai's effort that bounced off the crossbar. 

With 50 points in the basket, Liverpool are well off in the front roll and have maintained a winning streak in seven of their last eight Premier League games.
