Manchester United Made Crunches Of Everton At Old Trafford

Manchester United claimed a delightful 4-4 victory against Everton at Old Trafford and are now better off on the EPL table in 9th position. The victory against Everton with four- goals margin was United's first since 2021 as Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee both contributed braces to the scoresheet.

Rashford broke the deadlock for United midway of the game. He latched onto Bruno Fernandez's cross from a corner and smacked the ball goal-bound and that deflected off Branthwaite into the net. Zirkzee doubled the tally for the side after Rashford dispossessed Branthwaite and Fernandez set up Zirkzee with a pass to finish off the fast break.

The game took even more unpleasant turns for Everton after halftime as Rashford added in the third, and once again, United gained a counter from dispossessing Tarknowski and Dalot latch on to set up Zirkzee with ball to finish off for the fourth goal.

Although, The visitor's Everton long for vulnerability to seek a win that would lift them clear of an increasingly crowded and competitive relegation battle. Despite haven't  scored in their last three games yet unable to fancy their chances for a goal against a remodelled backline of the United's.

Interestingly, the game was Ruben Amorim's first home encounter since his appointment as a permanent manager and recorded his biggest victory and the biggest by margin for a manager at the club on home turf.

Overview

Manchester United could not have it better than that, coming from a slow start to snatching the lead and went on to thrash Everton, who from onset seemed as if they were going to make something out of the game.

United kept their composure whilst Everton found the spaces to cause scares earlier into the game. Unlike they giving the bal away, Everton had that fault to blame themselves for, twice of which they were dispossessed of the ball leading to two goals from Zirkzee.
