Vinicius Jr. Might Be On Look Out For Suitors As Contract Extension Talks With Real Madrid Stall

Real Madrid's efforts to hold Vinicius down to a new long-term contract has failed as the player reportedly rejected their latest offer, fueling speculation about his potential departure from Bernabeu.

The 24-year-old Brazilian is now being monitored by several top European clubs following the break down of talks over contract extension with Real. The player recently missed out on  winning the Ballon d'Or award, for a reason which rumours as garnered by Relevo blamed on UEFA's involvement in process leading to the player losing the Ballon d'Or trophy to his Manchester City counterpart, Rodri Hernandez.

Meanwhile, Vinicius jr has been in stellar shape this season and even prior. He contributed 24 goals and 11 assists last season to Real's campaign for both La Liga and Champions League titles.

"Real Madrid are not actively trying to sell Vinicius,” Duncan Castles told the Transfers Podcast. “But they know that in terms of securing a high transfer fee, nobody is going to be able to outbid the Saudi Pro League."

"They also know these salary offers have been placed in front of the player and there's been a degree of interest."

According to speculations, PSG are also monitoring the situation in 2hat could be a payback to Real Madrid and Florentino Perez, for signing Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer during the summer.

Interestingly, Manchester United are not left behind and are also keeping tabs on the winger. Though it's unlikely that neither club would come close to offering near the pay that sides in Saudi Arabia would offer. However, Chelsea might be a strong contender for his signing as the Blues are understood to be preparing a club-record deal of £168million.

Amongst clubs on the look out for the forward, Saudi Arabia Pro League stands most favourite since they stand the better chance of meeting the conditions in his contract. Another reason for the Saudis interest is that they reportedly intended to make the Brazilian star as the new face of the league.
