Kylian Mbappe Is Not Having Rape Allegations, Threatens Lawsuit

French football star, Kylian Mbappe is facing serious allegations of rape and sexual harassment during his recent visit to Stockholm, Sweden, and the Real Madrid striker has debunked the claims as untrue.

Mbappe missed participating in France UEFA Nations League games against Israel and Belgium over thigh injury. At the same time, the 25-year-old travelled to Sweden where he was spotted at a restaurant and later on at a nightclub in Stockholm,

The incident has since been confirmed by the Swedish authorities, that it has received criminal reports of what it described as "reasonable rape" from the player's accuser.

Amidst the rumours, Mbappe has denied the allegations, calling them "FAKE NEWS" in a statement released via his social media handle on X. He also linked the timing of the allegations to a hearing over his wage dispute with former club Paris Saint-Germain. Even his representatives have also released a statement regarding the incident, which they described as "completely false and irresponsible."

The player's team also threatened to file a lawsuit against every party involved in what they described as "moral harassment and defamatory treatment" of the striker, which can help end any further "methodological destruction of his image."

The investigation is ongoing, with police seizing clothing as evidence, including women's underwear and black trousers and top. The alleged victim sought medical attention after the incident, leading to the complaint being filed.
