Defunct Group, One Direction Loses Bandmate
Liam Payne, a member of the UK music group, One Direction passed away in a shocking incident on Wednesday. He was aged, 31.
Until his death, Liam was member of the defunct band, which rose to fame after their audition on X Factor, a popular TV Show anchor by Simon Cowell. The group was signed to £2million in 2010 by Simon, who initiated the making of the group after individuals of the five-man band auditioned separately on the show.
The passing away of the popstar happened at a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he fell from the building to his death. He was declared dead upon the arrival of the paramedics, who described injuries sustained as "not compatible with life" and could not be resuscitated.
Liam traveled to the country to attend a concert headlined by his former One Direction bandmate, Niall Horan. He had posted series of pictures from the trip and from the concert venue before the incident happened.
As the country's authorities had it, they claimed the locals who phoned in described the popstar as someone who showed some erratic behaviours before he fatally fell from the third floor of the building.
"The alarm was raised at 5:04pm local time," said the authorities. "Saying a person was lying in an internal patio at Casa Sur. At 5:11pm an ambulance arrived and the man was certified dead."
Prior to the incident, Liam had posted series of pictures from the hotel and one he shared with his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy he captioned as: "Quality time."
