Chelsea Frolic To Big Away Victory Against Panathinaikos
Chelsea are maintaining the perfect start to the UEFA Conference League, with a massive 4-1 victory on the road to Arhen against Panathinaikos and Felix Joao contributing a brace to the rout.
Felix had a field day during the match and could have completed a hat-trick from the penalty he drew. He allowed the spot-kick to Christopher Nkunku who completed the goal-streak. Meanwhile, Felix had put the side ahead with opening goal before Mykhailo Mudryk slammed home the second.
The Blues went even clearer in the lead with the third when Felix's shot was deflected into the net, and followed by a handball to Felix's cross in the box. Nkunku scored from the spot-kick for the side's fourth before the Greek side pulled back in a counter as Pellistri tapped home Vagiannidis' cross.
This match, however, held added significance for the Greek side, who paid tribute to George Baldock prior to the match. The defender passed away earlier in October.
Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca opted for rotated squad, featuring a mix of first-team players and those from the reserve. The team was yet formidable enough to deliver the victory.
