Sabrina Carpenter's Taste Dominates In Top Spot On UK Top 100 Chart
Sabrina Carpenter is having a time of her life on the UK chart, having the top spot to herself for seventeen weeks is nothing but remarkable. Far from chance, as you might think, her singles from her new album, Short n Sweet are doing the jobs for her, and currently, it is the hit single, Taste at the top of the chart.
Taste, a song that suggests a situation of love-triangle gone tragic has lasted on the U.K Official Singles Chart for five weeks now. The song debut the spot earlier in September after another of her hit singles Please Please Please had spent seven weeks at no. 1 spot.
Short n Sweet is her sixth studio album and three of her songs from the album, Taste (1), Espresso (3) and Please, Please, Please (5) are currently in top 10 of the Top 100 - Espresso was the first amongst the singles to top in no. 1 and did for five straight weeks.
Just behind Sabrina on the chart is Chappelle Roan's, Good Luck Babe in number two. However, in between Sabrina's Espresso and Please, Please, Please is Lady Gaga andBruno Mars' Die With A Smile. As you may know, Mars is currently in tge middle of a lawsuit against Miley Cyrus over Flowers for sampling his song.
Rightly midway of the chart is Taylor Swift's Cruel Summer in no. 50 on its 60th week on the chart - the song's best performance peaked at no.2. By the way, the singer and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce are currently dealing with speculations over their breakup over a leaked contract.
