Premier League: Palace Deserve Point Earned At Manchester United If Not Victory

Crystal Palace brought out their finest of forms to an exhausting and energetic game against Manchester United's Old Trafford at Selhurst Park to secure a goalless draw against their hosts.

Palace fairly dominated the crucial parts of the game and by every standard should have got the victory. However, Andre Onana's brilliant goalkeeping was to the side's rescue drawing a handful of saves that kept United in the game.

Eberechi Eze, Eddie Nketiah  and Sarr were terrific in the attack but luck was on United's side they hit the chances just wide to miss the goal. On the other hand, neither Marcus Rashford nor Rasmond Holjund could break past Palace's defend from the left.

The midfield was not in terrible shape for United, Palace just were the better side for the later part. United only managed to keep hold of the game to share points and refuted as Hughes, who replaced Nketiah drew a fine save from Onana drilling a left-footed shot at the goal.

Overview

Erik ten Hag's men was looking to register their third straight win in all competitions after thrashing Barnsley 7-0 in a Carabao Cup third-round tie, where Palace also booked a 2-1 win over QPR in the mid-week. Dropping Rashford, and starting Amad, are two decisions that did not pan out, and he is indebted to his goalkeeper for a point.

Although, an Heroics from goalkeeper Andre Onana ensured that United left with a point, instead of a maddening defeat with a stunning double save to keep United level, Garnacho and Fernandes fluffed major chances at Selhurst Park of Crystal Palace's with impressive action to keep Manchester United frustrated at home.
