Premier League: Chelsea Get Better Of West Ham In Sweaty London Derby

 

Chelsea delivered a dominant performance, defeating West Ham 3-0 in the Premier League London derby matchup at the London stadium.

Nicolas Jackson stole the show, scoring twice within the first 22 minutes to put Chelsea in the driver's seat. His early goals set the tone for the Blues, who didn't back afterwards. 

Jackson struck first in the 4th minute, catching West Ham's defense off-guard. He doubled Chelsea's lead midway Moises Caicedo's through pass, leaving Julen Lopetegui's team reeling. The striker then turned provider less than a minute into the second half, laying off a perfectly timed pass to Cole Palmer, who sealed the victory with a clinical finish.

Julen Lopetegui's West Ham faces increasing pressure, struggling to find consistency and cohesion. Today's defeat raises concerns about their ability to compete against top-tier teams.

Great start from Chelsea and marzelous strikes from Jackson for gifting the side the lead from the get that, leaving West Ham to fight from behind which they eventually could not turn around. Kudus tried to make something out the situation for West Ham and got compensated with a goal from a set of mix situatiosns but was ruled out for offside position. Palmer had missed a galring chance from the first half and compensated for his effort with the winner briefly after halftime break.
