Mikel Arteta Extends Contract With Arsenal

 

Arsenal Football Club has announced that Mikel Arteta has signed a contract extension, keeping him at the helm until 2027. Since joining the club in December 2019, Arteta has been instrumental in re-establishing Arsenal as a dominant force in English and European football.

Under Arteta's leadership, the team has achieved remarkable success, including a second victory in the FA Community Shield and a second successive runners-up finish in the Premier League. The 2023-24 season saw numerous club records shattered, with 28 Premier League wins, 91 goals scored, and an impressive 67.3% win rate.

Arteta's achievements have not gone unnoticed, with seven Premier League Manager of the Month nominations and a win in February 2024, his seventh overall. The team's qualification for the Champions League for the second successive season is a testament to Arteta's strategic prowess and commitment to excellence.
