Mikel Arteta Hopes To Commit More Years To Arsenal

 


As Mikel Arteta begins to count down to the expiration of his contract at Arsenal, he hopes to commit more years to the club and is open to discuss a new contract with the club. 

Arteta has until the end of the season remaining in his contract with the club that he has delivered impressively for. He led the side to finish as runners-up twice in a row behind Manchester City, who won the Premier League trophy back-to-back. 

"We are on it and we will take care of that in the right moment," Arteta assured nina statement. "It's something I always mention because I believe we still have an unbelievable time ahead of us. It's very exciting and I am very 3xcited about it." 

Arsenal just had a neat start to the 2024/25 season, defeating Wolverhampton at Emirates Stadium on opening matchday. More so, the transfer is not yet close and they are yet open to signing new players amongst whom is Mikel Merino. An agreement in principle is understood to have been reached with Real Sociedad for the midfielder. Likewise is Riccardo Calafiori, who is newly-signed to the club for £42 million.
