Joao Felix Gets An Incredible Debut On Return To Chelsea

Wolverhampton had a difficult game at home against Chelsea and lost by an incredible margin of 6-2, with Noni Madueke scoring a hat-trick from three assists completed by Cole Palmer.

Ahead of the game, Chelsea had lost their opening game against Manchester City, making this match an important one for their newly-appointed manager, Enzo Maresca. The game turned out to be a historic for Enzo, who became the youngest manager to lead a side to win by six or more goals in a single Premier League game.

Chelsea were unlike their previous games and better still their opening game City. This time, they were intentional and precious with their moves in the opponents' box leading to goal-spree that saw Wolves' resilience broke and completely outclassed.

Though, Joao Felix was not involved in the game from the first half which was competitive for both sides, the player he replaced, Jackson had played a significant role to set the the side off ahead and assisting Cole Palmer to restore the lead after Matheus Cunha's equalizer. This halve was not a easy-cracker for the Blues.

Chelsea giving away possessions easily, impacted on the midfield and that put pressure on the defense, giving rooms to Wolves to build up pressure and get goals out of those moments. Nevertheless, the Blues saw a spectacular displayed of skills leading to their comebacks.

Wolves were outrightly dominated from the earlier part of the second half. The combination of Noni Madueke and Palmer alongside Jackson significantly took down Wolves defense. The Blues cordination was spot on and there needless letting off the ball to the oppositions for the most of the earlier stages of the half.

The take for Wolves is the capabilities of making a stunner out of their set pieces. They had two incredible goals from two of those moments but Lamina's was ruled out for Toti straying into offside position. However, there was no lagging for Chelsea with Joao Felix when he replaced Jackson.

For Joao, his first opportunity at the goal was incredible. He rightly positioned himself for  even though the game had been made already before he came on to the pitch, the manner by which he got his debut goal was not short of classic. Apparently. Chelsea might have just fixed an important part in the attacking midfield. The newly-signing was equally sensational. That was delivering his money's worth from the get go, was'nt it?
