Is D'banj Reigniting Relationship With Don Jazzy With "The Entertainer" Sequel?
There has been many stuff coming from D'banj lately, apparently he is not leaving his long time partner/producer, Don Jazzy behind on his many studio projects. The duo appeared to have something up their sleeves, and whatever that is, it will be coming up by the end of the month.
D'banj, better still the Kolomaster as he popular known has since the beginning of his music career been a progeny of Don Jazzy. As the artist once narrated, they met in London, United Kingdom before they once again reunited in Lagos, Nigeria. The popular mouth organ (harmonica) player otherwise known as D'banj was born as an artist signed to Mavin Music - a music label then owned by Don jazzy. As time goes by, the artist became bigger and bigger, likewise his producer, Don Jazzy. For some reason, their relationship went cold and both went their separate ways.
Whatever disgruntled that might have transpired over the years, that seemed over between the duo and potentially are retracing their steps back to the good old days. Just recently, D'banj celebrated his 20th anniversary on stage with the release of a single, 'Since 04'. Amidst the celebration of his career, a photo of him and his long time friend and producer, Jazzy also surfaced online.
Could this be their reunion? Well, time will time. More so, D'banj just announced the release date of his sequel to his hit album, The Entertainer and that is expected to hit the airwaves on August, 16.
