Chelsea Thrash Wolves In Goal-Filled Encounter

 


Chelsea secured their first victory of the season from the second matchday game at Wolverhampton Wanderers' Molineux Stadium, which they dominated to win by 6-2, with Noni Madueke scoring a hat-trick. 

Nicolas Jackson opened the scoring for Chelsea with a header, but Matheus Cunha equalized for Wolves. Undeterred, Cunha curled a stunning shot from inside the box into the net, leveling the score.

Cole Palmer restored Chelsea's lead with a clever lob over Jose Sa, but Jorgen Strand Larsen responded, capitalizing on Yerson Mosquera's header.

After halftime break, Noni Madueke stole the show with a hat-trick, showcasing his pace and precision. Joao Felix marked his return with a breathtaking goal, sealing Chelsea's victory.

Four goals were scored in the first half, Cunha's goal was initially ruled offside, Palmer scored with an audacious lob, Madueke scored a hat-trick,Felix made a dazzling return. The 22-year-old earned his first hat-trick for Chelsea in a Premier League game. 

More so, Palmer's assists with three of the fifth most assists with three or more in a single Premier League game after the most recent from Harry Kane for Son Heung-min in 2020.
