Brighton Stun Manchester United With Late Drama

In a thrilling Premier League encounter, Brighton & Hove Albion snatched a dramatic 2-1 victory over Manchester United, courtesy of Joao Pedro's late header.

Danny Welbeck, a former United academy graduate, opened the scoring against his former club, capitalizing on defensive lapses. He slid to guide home Kaoru Mitoma's cross from close range. 

Amad Diallo individual effort from counter equalized the lead, reigniting hope for the Red Devils. However, Alejandro Garnacho's potential winner was controversially ruled out for Zirkzee's offside, leaving United fans crestfallen.

In the dying moments, Pedro rose to the occasion, heading home Simon Adingra's cross to secure a stunning win for Brighton. Elation filled the Brighton camp, while despair gripped United.

It was Pedro's first Premier League goal against United. Welbeck, also a former United player, scored against the side he won the Premier League with 11 seasons ago.
